Book Review: Immortal Shadow

Immortal Shadow by Anderson Atlas is a short novel about life on another planet. An earth person is kidnapped and taken there to help them learn about earth technology. The main character is called Jibbawk and he is a Shadic. There are many, many different types of creatures in this book and they are called out by name and not always described, so you must use your imagination. The Shadics are apparently 9 feet tall and according to the picture on the cover look something like a crow with red beady eyes. Quite frightening! Frightening, and indeed Jibbawk is ruthless to the extreme. He will kill at a moment’s notice or no notice. He appears to have more positive emotions whatsoever. This is made even more serious by the fact that he is a leader of his planet and sadistically enjoys ultimate power.
Anderson Atlas’ story is very creative. Interesting that he has created all these alternative animals and creatures that populate the planet. It would have been nice, though, to have more description of these creatures and their personalities. But Immortal Shadow is well written with a tight story line. Look for more from Atlas.

  1. I’ve been browsing online more than three hours today, yet
I never found any interesting article like yours.
It’s pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all web owners and bloggers made
good content as you did, the net will be much more useful
    than ever before.

  2. Howdy! Someone in my Facebook group shared this website with us
so I came to check it out. I’m definitely loving the information. I’m bookmarking and will be tweeting this to my followers!
Great blog and amazing style and design.
